Obama & Kerry took an oath of office to protect and defend this country "against all enemies, foreign and domestic." These two are like two foxes guarding the hen-house.
Recently on Pat Robertson's "700 Club" (09/03/15?), Robertson reminded listeners that Obama had once called ISIS "the JV Team", regarding their threat to the West. (Greta Van Susteren, Fox News). His down-playing of the ISIS threat is the same willful blindness that allowed him to push for the recent Iran treaty.
If you're Christian or Jewish, you need to take seriously the "domestic threat" of an incompetent Executive Branch making decisions that affect you from the "foreign threat" of Islam. And there are certain things you can do. First, become better informed. Second, find out what's already being done by others, and help the process: Mark Levin, Dennis Prager, Jay Sekulow and Dr. Michael L. Brown have websites that will help you get started doing something besides praying. And if the current US State Department says it, remember the old adage: "Question Authority".
Fox News's own Megyn Kelly did a great interview with Pstr. John McArthur (with a damning clip of Sec. of State Kerry inserting foot in mouth).Check it out:

In Kelly's interview, Pstr. McArthur briefly reviewed the religious and messianic underpinnings of just what kind of "Islam" ISIS and Iran's ruling imams believe. It's not the "user-friendly" type, nor the "let's-all-just-get-along" type, nor the "live-and-let-live" type that your friendly neighborhood grocer believes. It's the classic, traditional, Koranic type. McArthur's interview runs for just 10 minutes, but he puts things in perspective for you, and explains why these regimes hate both Jews and Christians.
Now: the next question: What to do about it? Well, find out what's being done about it already, and join the party. For starters, listen to Mark Levin.
Mark Reed Levin is an attorney, author and host of the syndicated radio show "The Mark Levin Show" He's president of the Landmark Legal Foundation. His latest book Plunder and Deceit in America calls for a new civil rights movement, and calls for young people to question authority, especially when the State tells you what to think. It doesn't directly deal with Iran or ISIS, but rather with the bigger issue at stake: how America became anesthetized enough to resign its role in the world so that in the vacuum of American moral power, Islamic moral mayhem has been allowed to prevail. Secondly, listen to Dennis Prager.
Dennis Prager isn't Christian (he's Orthodox Jewish), but he speaks with a biblical moral authority that Christians can appreciate. For example in 2006 he protested that Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, shouldn't be allowed to take his congressional oath of office using the Qur'an because of the fact that American civilization and its values is based on the Bible. In a recent blog, I pointed out that unlike the Bible, the Qur'an allows two versions of truth-telling: one for Muslims, one for everyone else. www.scripturesdramatized.com (see "Radio Blogs", then "Islam's Insincere Smiley-Face"). The point: Prager is correct: the Koran does not require either a Muslim member of Congress, or an Iranian diplomat representing the imams in Tehran, to tell the truth if in their judgment, the cause of Islam will be hurt.
Jay Sekulow, who is Messianic Jewish, is one of America's most influential attorneys and has argued often before the Supreme Court. He's Director of ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice). In 1987, he argued successfully on behalf of Jews for Jesus and their constitutional right to free speech in evangelism. This case was a primary reason why street evangelists today are allowed to do what they do in the public square. His book, The Definitive Book on ISIS, and his ongoing websites provide helpful tips for concerned Christians to work at the grassroots level. Find Jay on Facebook, and get on his mailing list.
So ... who's guarding the hen-house? Don't look now, but it's YOU.

"How to Pray for Evil Rulers"
Scripture tells us to pray for our national and regional leaders. In fact, it's detailed about how and why to do this. 2000 years ago, the Apostle Paul wrote: "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life ..." (I Tim. 2:1-2) Now in case you're wondering how and why you should pray for our current leaders, and how you can possibly offer God thanks for them, keep in mind who ruled the Roman Empire at the time that Paul wrote this: it was Nero and his appointed henchmen. Nero was preceded by Claudius and by Emperor Caligula. Look up Caligula on the Internet for some perspective on the evil of our national leaders today. How and why should we pray and be thankful for our national leaders today? Tune in and take notes! Your host is Rev. Rick Anderson, on "Jewish Roots", each Thursday at 9:30 pm DST.
